Fresh Food Fast C-Store RaceTrac Finds Menu Success

When I was reading about RaceTrac new menu items I could almost put the words to music. Ok, clear your mind, “Turkey & Swiss With Tomato is made with layers of turkey, Swiss cheese, fresh lettuce and tomato on honey wheat bread; the Southwest Turkey Ciabatta features a sweet-and-spicy flavor with chipotle mayo, pepper jack cheese and caramelized onions on a fresh-baked ciabatta bun.” I have not tried it yet but I can sure hum the tune!  

Convenience stores continue to find success selling Ready-2-Eat and Heat-N-Eat fresh prepared food.  RaceTrac’s three new turkey sandwiches are another signal that the convenience store sector is poised to capture a greater share of stomach than most legacy restaurants would like or main stream media will report.
