7-Eleven Cool Down with a Hot Movie

It’s the middle of July and many call these the dog days of summer. Nothing helps cool your kids, your spouse or you down quite like a 7-Eleven Big Gulp on a hot evening. Now 7-Eleven customers can stop buy and get their favorite flavor of a 32-ounce Big Gulp and earn a free movie night.

7-Eleven and Redbox, teamed up for a new nationwide promotion that gives consumers a free Redbox movie night with every 32-ounce Big Gulp purchase, now through Aug. 31.

Mark Horak, president of Redbox said "Not only is this the first national promotion that we've ever run with 7-Eleven, it's also the biggest promotion in Redbox's history,"…. "From now until the end of August, we expect to hand out millions of free movie nights to 7-Eleven customers, which is a whole lot of new-release entertainment for movie and soda lovers nationwide."

All consumers need to do to get the free movie night, is purchase a 32-ounce Big Gulp drink at a participating 7-Eleven store. A tear-off label with a unique Redbox promo code will be attached to the side of the cup, while supplies last.

Here is how it works then “The Redbox promo codes for a free one-day DVD rental can be redeemed online or at any of Redbox’s 35,000 kiosk locations nationwide. To find a Redbox location, consumers can enter their ZIP code at or download the Redbox app for an easy location find, and to browse and reserve their movie in advance.”

7-Eleven operates,  10,500 stores in North America, now I know they sell a lot of Big Gulps in the summer but a Big Gulp and a movie, pizza, or ice cream just might be joining the make movie night a good night!
