Co-Branded Menu Items Win Walking Away for Non-Traditional Fresh Food Retailers

Rutter’s “walking taco” (pictured above) a made-to-order menu items is such a hit they are now expanding the line.

Rutter’s “Walking Taco” traditionally served in 1-ounce bags of Doritos brand tortilla chips and can be eaten with a fork. Depending on which toppings are chosen, each walking taco weighs between 2 and 4 ounces”

Now Rutter’s say’s “customers can now choose Fritos brand corn chips as the base of the meal-sized walking taco and add chili con carne, in addition to traditional taco meat. Other toppings for the tacos include lettuce, shredded cheese, salsa, hot sauce, onions, black olives, diced tomatoes, green peppers and sour cream”.
