The Demise of Restaurants Are Greatly Exaggerated.

Restaurateurs rejoice your restaurant is still important. Delivering restaurant sales success does not mean that you have to deliver all of your food all of the time. Consumers are social and enjoy dining out, the dining experience and not having to cook and clean dishes according to Foodservice Solutions® Steven Johnson.

Zebra Technologies Corp released its annual Global Shopper Study which found (76%) of shoppers feel positively about shopping in stores and nearly one-half think that technology solutions are helping retailers enable and improve their shopping experience.

Customer want to come into you restaurant the study found more than “three in 10 shoppers would prefer to go to a retail store to pick up items purchased via online or mobile channels. At the store, consumers are very interested in Wi-Fi and location-based, in-store services such as mobile coupons (51%), shopping maps (45%) and associate assistance (41%).” Is your restaurant expanding your brand?
Here are some other findings:

1.       52% value retailers who use technology to make the in-store experience more efficient.
2.       8 in ten consumers are willing to share some level of information
3.       However only 5% of customers ‘trust’ retailer with data (don’t ask for to much)

Today more than ever your brand is an invitation.  That invitation must extend into new avenues of distribution, messaging, and communication all the while reinforcing the comfort, quality, and value of your food, service, and décor.
