Wawa and Sheetz once again are battling for best in class coffee at a
convenience store. In a new study of
7,000 consumers by
Market Force Information found that Sheetz and Wawa were tied with for the top
spot for best convenience store coffee.
Clearly the battle for best coffee is on for yet another year.
This year however Wawa came in number One
overall best convenience store.
Wawa earned a "composite loyalty score" of 68 percent,
according to Market Force Information, edging out other convenience stores
across the United States.
QuikTrip
came in at No. 2 with a score of 62 percent this year; Sheetz came in at No. 3
with 59 percent. All three of these C-stores have outstanding grocerant niche

Market
Force's survey was conducted in June across the country. The nearly 7,000
respondents reflected a range of income levels, with nearly 52 percent
reporting household incomes of more than $50,000 a year. Respondents’ ages
ranged from 18 to over 65. About 64 percent were women and 36 percent were men.
Grocerant

Consumer from 18 to 65 are migrating to Ready-2-Eat and Heat-N-Eat fresh
food and the convenience store sector continues to add new food offerings
