Papa John’s Understands Consumers are Dynamic

Back in the day Foodservice Solutions® Grocerant Guru® Steven Johnson worked alongside Tim Glass, Ford Smith (Pet Smart founder,) and Jim Brimhall who were co-founders of cyberslice.com the company that signed Papa John’s to become the first chain restaurant in the world to offer Online Ordering.
Papa John’s CEO John Schnatter knew then what he knows now the consumer is dynamic not static and that’s just one of the reasons Papa John’s was first with Online Ordering.  Schnatter understands when the customer moves you must move with them.  Foodservice Solutions® insightful research that develop the 65 Inch HDTV Syndrome back in the day continues to drive change within the foodservice sector.
Papa John’s has upped its game once again, enabling customers to place orders via Apple TV. A new Papa John’s app customers can place a past order as well as create a new one via its “pizza builder”—automatically applies a 25% discount to orders and can access the address and payment information of Papa John’s account holders, streamlining the process.
Schnatter stated “Pizza and entertainment are a natural fit,….With the launch of our Apple TV app, we’re hoping to make family movie night and friend gatherings around the TV even more enjoyable by delivering the same quality product and experience our customers expect in a convenient and interactive way.”
Papa John’s team understands that customization and personalization are keys to successful customer engagement.  The new Papa John’s app is both customers interactive and participatory which makes it’s an app with identity and customer relevance.  It also will elevate Papa John’s in the minds-eye of the customer.
