Casey's Food Focus to Drive Growth



Once again success does leave clues Casey's General Stores Inc. is looking to the forward building on it’s growth strength a fresh food focus according to Steven Johnson, Grocerant Guru® at Tacoma, WA based Foodservice Solutions®.
So, Casey's new location in Belton, Mo., will serve as the c-store new store prototype. It will feature a bigger full-service kitchen, expanded menu and more seating. The new store will be double the size of many their current c-stores.
Megan Elfers, Casey's vice president of marketing and advertising stated "As much as possible, Casey's looks at what the community needs, the amount of space we are able to secure for a site, as well as sales and operational considerations to inform store format,"  
Regular readers of this blog know that Casey's operates more than 2,100 convenience stores in 16 states and when Casey’s introduced pizza food sales took off.
