Krispy Kreme Expands Partnership to Deliver a Frenzy of Favorite Flavor

Success does leave clues and branded partnerships help expand your brands reach while edifying your relationships with consumers according to Steven Johnson, Grocerant Guru® at Tacoma, WA based Foodservice Solutions®.
Yes, Krispy Kreme and Reese's have partnered up once again to expand each other’s brand reach.  This time Krispy Kreme debuted two original filled doughnuts stuffed with peanut butter and chocolate Kreme. If you like Reese’s Peanut Butter cups you will like these donuts. These new donut flavors will drive incremental relevance and a new electricity for customer reinforcing fresh food that is familiar yet different with a twist of freshness.
Filled Peanut Butter Lovers Doughnut and the Reese's Original Filled Chocolate Lovers Doughnut are both chocolate glazed. Here's where they differ though: The chocolate is stuffed with a Reese's peanut butter creme, dipped in chocolate fudge icing, and then topped with a PB icing drizzle. Contrastingly, the Peanut Butter Lovers is stuffed with a chocolate peanut butter creme, dipped in peanut butter icing, and topped chocolate. How are you edifying your brand?  Are you driving new electricity?
Johnson stated “that in my minds-eye the new electricity must be very efficient for the supply chain and includes such things as fresh foods, plant based  foods,  sampling, toy’s, beer, developing brands, unique urban clothing, grocerant positioning, fresh food messaging, autonomous delivery, cashier-less retail, plates, glasses, cash-less payments, digital hand-held marketing.
All food and beverage retailers to survive the next generation of retail must embrace the artificial intelligence revolution while simultaneously embracing fresh food and beverages that are portable, fresh, with differentiation that is familiar not different.  Does your retail path forward look more like yesterday than tomorrow?  Why?
